Description:  Everything in these knives is the real thing.

· 6" Steel Blade is made of 1075 Blue Tempered Spring Steel.  This is 0.85% carbon.  The high carbon allows for edge holding ability at a low temper making sharpening easy with a stone, steel, or ceramic stick. The blade can rust so it must be kept lightly oiled or cleaned to protect when stored either in or out of the scabbard.

· Guards are made out of hard brass.

· Handle is antler. The antler is shed white tail, mule, or black tail deer.  All are native antler.  Antlers are shed annually and in most cases the animal is growing another set now. Since this is real deer antler, it is best to keep away from heat or sun rays through glass, as heat will dry and crack the antler.

· Handle insert is Red Coral.

· The snapping style scabbard is 11 oz. American cowhide.  The leather is tanned by Herman Oak in St. Louis, Mo. to assure there is no salt water or ocean water used in tanning which leaves salt in the leather, which would rust the knife. The scabbards are made completely by hand without the use on any aides or jugs.

· Each custom knife comes with a certificate of authenticity. Each custom knife is hand signed with Ken Richardson's initials and two digit month and year the knife was made.
